ASTRON is a high-tech company with a clear vision of creating innovations based on thinking outside the box, with a lot of agility and systematic creativity. In order to ensure the highest possible quality of development and research and expert familiarization with the most modern upcoming technologies, the company works closely with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics – FERI, University of Maribor.

Recently, ASTRON has developed and launched on the market a series of innovative products, cloud services and solutions in the domains of Smart Metering, Smart City and Smart Home, with prominent expert knowledge in the fields of LPWA 5G communication technologies, AI at the Edge distributed algorithms and server platforms in the cloud.

ASTRON works with its customers as partners, which gladly listens to them and flexibly adapts solutions to the specific needs and requirements of the customer. The company cooperates with major energy providers and mobile operators at home and abroad, and we are also open to cooperation with other partners.

ASTRON is looking for new collaborators with the aim of strengthening its own development capabilities and expanding its interdisciplinary research potential, and it has its own research group registered with ARRS under registration number 2760. The company is registered in the Eastern Cohesion Region.
